Little Miss Muffet Tea Party Release - Day 2

Hello Everyone!  Did you know that Simply B Stamps (SBS) and Little Miss Muffet Stamps (LMMS) have joined together to bring you a "Tea Party Release!"  I am taking part in day 2 of the combined release and I have a tutorial to share with you!!

Check out all the new stamp in the SBS New Items and LMMS What's New sections of each store!

Of course with a party this big there are prizes!  Be sure to check both the Simply B Stamps (SBS) and Little Miss Muffet Stamps (LMMS) blog for a list of prizes! Today, LMMS has two rubber stamps to go to two lucky winners!   2 Lucky Winners - la Jeune Fille à l'Eventail!  Plus, with every LMMS purchase, you will receive an exclusive digi stamp for free ... Piccino Mermaid!

Now on to the tutorial that I mentioned earlier...I am sharing the directions to make cute little pouch treat holders!  This is my first real tutorial, so please go easy on me.

Click on any of the pictures to get a closer look.

Supplies:

3" x 7.5" Strips of Card Stock
scorer
Patterned Paper Scraps
Neutral Card stock Scraps
Stamped, colored, and cut out Images
Corner Rounder (optional)
Buttons (optional)
Super sticky permanent tape
Dimensionals
Glue Dots
candy (not optional!)

1 - Score 3"x7.5" card stock at 5" and crease.

2 - Apply Super Sticky Tape on the sides of the shorter flap (or glue, or you could even sew the sides of the flap to create the pocket).

3 - Remove backing from tape and fold flap over to create pocket.  Squeeze the paper together to ensure the tape adhers completely.

4 - Decorate...

5 - Let the pocket sit over night before filling it.  This will give the tape time to set.

To make a larger pocket, like the one featuring Mad Hatter, change the card stock size to 4.5" x 11" and score at 7".

Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to check out the Simply B Stamps (SBS) and Little Miss Muffet Stamps (LMMS) blogs for prizes and more tutorials from my fabulous teamies!

Smiles,
Julie
